Document 32: (Stowmarket I) Notarized approval of the will of Samuel Rout of Stowmarket, affirmed by George Sandby, Episcopal Consistorial Court of Norwich, and signed by Richard Moss, Notary Public, October 5, 1772. (Vellum, with an attached example of a duty stamp: a five shilling stamp of paper and lead.)
  22. Document 33: "Indenture of Twelve Parts" between Sir Thomas and Dame Lucy Gage of Coldham Hall, Suffolk, and George Maxwell of Scotland and others, September 16, 1777. Eight leaves, vellum, bound at the bottom edge with string.

  24. Document 35: (Melford 8) Melford Church. Handwritten notes with annotations of an address made at the meeting of the Suffolk Archealogical Association, September 29, 1853. Ten leaves, written on both sides, bound with green ribbon. Includes one printed galley proof (missing as of 3/2019). (Paper)
  25. Document 36: (Melford 1) Extract (copied circa 1850) from the Black Book of Melford, in the hands of the churchwarden, 1st Edward 6th (1537). Four leaves, handwritten on both sides, bound with green ribbon.
  26. Document 37: (Melford 2) Undated extracts from several wills from the 1400s in the register office at Bury (Melford Parish). Eighteen manuscript leaves in two sheafs, bound with green ribbon at the upper left.
  27. Document 38: Printed copies of wills of the prominent Clopton family of Kentwell Hall, Suffolk County. Included are the Wills of William Clopton, Esquire, of Kentwell, 1588, and Thomas Clopton, Esquire, of Melford, and the Administration of Francis Clopton, Esquire, 1589, two pages.
  28. Document 39: Modern facsimiles of the United States Declaration of Independence and the Joint Resolution of Congress Proposing Twelve Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, March 4, 1789, undated, two leaves in folding cardboard enclosure.
