Tape begins with national native news. The show on Zuni Salt Lake highlights the concerns of the Zuni people as they face fifty years of strip mining operation. The Salt River Project planned to strip mine 80 million tons of coal to provide low cost energy for Arizona and the mine was to be located south of Zuni Pueblo and between Zuni Salt Lake, home to Zuni Salt woman'a powerful deity.
