Channel 7 Special Election Congressional Debate,, June 1998 (Tracking is bad)
File — Box: 8, Videotape: 10
Scope and Contents
This is the first of the two debates in this video collection, between Bob Anderson, Heather Wilson and Phil Maloof. In this debate the candidates address questions about changes in running campaigns, protecting Sandia laboratories, improving education, environmental and endangered species protection and logging, protection for veterans, gay rights, partial birth abortion, and the trading status with China. The debate videos (Tapes 10, 13, 14, 17) are important because they present not only the issues of importance to each candidate, but also these debates show the position of the Green Party within the current political structure. It is recommended that these debates be viewed in their entirety.
