Scope and Contents
In this tape, Green Party Vice-Presidential Candidate, Winona LaDuke provides a short biography of herself as a member of the White Earth tribe in Northern Minnesota and her work on land and environment preservation on her reservation and nationally among the Indian and environmental community. She also discusses her reasons for joining Ralph Nader in his campaign for presidency, specifically relating to environmental public policy that directly impact poor communities like those of Native American reservations.
