Scope and Contents
The first recording on this tape is an interview with Ralph Nader on Meet the Press on MSNBC with Tim Russert on March 31, 1996. Here, Ralph Nader discusses his platform in more detail and addresses the question and concerns about Democrats losing votes to him and electing a republican (Bob Dole) rather than a democrat (Bill Clinton). Here Ralph Nader launches into some in depth critiques of Democrats and specifically Bill Clinton. Also, in this video Ralph Nader addresses his platform in contrast to the Green Party and states he is not a Green Party member. He also specifies his position in the campaign, his stance on same-sex marriage, and his approach to a balanced budget.
