This collection contains programs from LULAC conventions (New Mexico statewide and regional), LULAC newsletters, and newsletters from the American GI Forum which was formed after World War II to address problems of discrimination and inequities endured by Hispanic veterans. The collection also contains correspondence, bylaws, certificates of merit, news clippings, articles about civil rights, and statements from Joseph W. Trujillo to his constituents.
