This collection documents the activities of the Albuquerque, New Mexico chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute, 1965-1998, relating to improving the process of creating and sustaining the built environment. Contents include meeting minutes, treasurer's reports, newsletters, president's correspondence, incorporation papers, by-laws, regional news, annual reports, educational materials, membership rosters, and photographs.
Meeting minutes reflect discussions to amend chapter by-laws, preparation for educational lectures and workshops, nominating new officers, and developing strategies to increase membership. The collection also contains issues of the Chapter newsletter, New Mex Spex. Some material in the collection relates to the Construction Specifications Institute, Southwest Region, as well as the national organization.
