Scope and Contents

Printed by the Departamento Femenil del Partido Comunista de México. This poster outlines exploitation in the textile industry, mostly staffed by women. It also discusses land rights for country women and indigenous women as well as their lower status, in general. It calls for women to participate in the Second Conference of Female Workers and Country Women to be held from November 25-23, 1933. It also expresses that its authors are in favor of equal pay for equal work, maternity leave, schools for their children, rights to land ownership, and the liberation of the secretary of the German Communist Party (Comrade Thaelman as well as those accused by Hitler of burning the Reichstag). The authors are against the repression of revolutionary organizations, U.S. intervention in Cuba, the imperialist war, obligatory military service, a national identity card, Japanese imperialism, Japan's war on China,and Hitler's fascist government.
