Miscellaneous news about JDR. An article from Pan Pipes of Sigma Alpha Iota, January 1979, noting announcement in 1979 for Robb’s book Hispanic Folk Songs of New Mexico; also noting the Premiere of Little Suite for Flute and Harpsichord by JDR at the 1978 New Mexico Teachers Association Convention in Hobbs; also the performing of his work at the First Unitarian Church in Albuquerque in August; a summer concert at Shelter Island, New York that honored Robb and included his work; and also the 1978 concert in San Salvador in October that features his composition. In addition mention of the sonata and opus recordings then out by Opus One Recording Co.; and the grants Robb had received from the National Endowment for the Arts to continue the transcription of his folk music recordings. Also a UNM Press ad with his Hispanic Folk Music book. Also a copy of the John Donald Robb Musical Trust Fact Sheet, UNM. Copy of the Center for Southwest Research, Center for Regional Studies booklet, which contains a section on the Robb Collection, ca. 2000.
