This collection consists of drafts and manuscripts for seven of Paul Horgan's novels. Printer's proofs are included with two of the titles, and several book jacket designs accompany one of the manuscripts. Manuscripts for published titles include: No Quarter Given (1935), which, in early drafts was entitled, "The Climate of Illusion"; Main Line West (1936); A Lamp on the Plains (1937); Far From Cibola (1938); Habit of Empire (1938); and The Common Heart (1942).
