Scope and Content
From the Collection:
The Eunice Kalloch collection contains documents concerning Kalloch's participation in civic organizations, including hand-written and typed correspondence, personal notes, organization by-laws, newsletters, reports, meeting minutes, budgets, news releases, pamphlets, conference schedules, and directories. The collection reflects Kalloch's interest in projects relating to civic beautification and public health issues. Files include material from organizations such as the Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Board, the Civic Beautification Committee, the March of Dimes, and the American Association of University Women. Scrapbooks contain material relating to her tenure as director of volunteers at the Bernalillo County Medical Center. Copies of city ordinances relating to urban beautification and proclamations by Albuquerque officials are also housed in the collection. Taped interviews with Kalloch are provided along with a signed copy of The First Ladies of New Mexico, by Eunice Kalloch and Ruth K. Hall.
