From the Collection:
This small collection contains two typescript copies of Quintana's second book of poetry, Sangre. Included in the manuscripts are Quintana's handwritten notes and corrections. The collection includes a separate handwritten "Acknowledgments" with a note to the editor. Published in 1981, Sangre won the American Book Award for poetry and the El Paso Border Regional Library Association award. No other correspondence is included in the collection. The poems are in Spanish and English.
