The Pueblo recordings contain interviews with Native Americans from the Pueblos of Acoma, Cochiti, Hopi, Isleta, Jemez, Laguna, Nambe, Picuris, Sandia, San Felipe, San Ildefonso, San Juan - Ohkay Owingeh, Santa Ana, Santa Clara, Taos, Tesuque, Zia and Zuni. There are also some interviews with non-Indians who lived in or worked at the pueblos as well as recordings of meetings regarding the Taos Blue Lake controversy. The White Mountain Apache transcripts were inadvertently microfilmed in this series as well.
Many of the interviews contain personal and family histories as well as information on social culture, ceremonies, legends, religion, language, agriculture, economy, government and history. Subjects include the Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial, Isleta vocabulary and linguistics, farming and irrigation, the All Indian Pueblo Council and the Head Start Program.
