Scope and Contents
General Herbert C. Holdridge, a retired Brigadier Army General was active in Indian movements aimed at abolishing the modern Tribal Council and reverting to chieftan rule. He attempted a citizen's arrest of Navajo Tribal Leader, Paul Jones, Commissioner, Emmons and President Eisenhower.
