Adelina Garcia, Nambe School - Grade 1,, March 1938-May 1938

 Item — Box: 26, Diary: 1

Scope and Contents

This teacher opens with commentary that keeping a diary is "rather hard for her to do" as she has never kept a diary before. This teacher seems very spirited, and rather than continue with the girls sewing club, she decided to start a popular basketball club. Throughout the remainder of this short diary, the teacher comments on the stress of being a teacher, teacher meetings, folk dances and assorted community events.
