Scope and Contents

Unlike the previous diary of Francis Smith, this diary is related more exclusively to club activities and assignments. This diary extends from the academic school year through the summer and includes programs from summer camp activities. The names, age, academic level, and social standing of individuals are recorded in detail. Group competitions (academic and social) are discussed and promoted by this teacher. Several pages discuss the activities and work of the "Girl Reserve," "Stamp Club," "Student Council," as well as detailed lists of reading and arithmetic assignments and student evaluations for each.
