Scope and Contents

This diary is a good source of teaching assignments and lesson plans, containing completed and graded assignments, many of which are testing advanced analytical skills and vocabulary, and student promotion lists. Also included are lesson plans that were developed at Columbia University, possibly at Barnard's Teacher's College. The diary contains materials such as student evaluations, stories, a bibliography and page references, and specific assignments for each day. Other units include reading, spelling, language, science, special days, confusion, and arithmetic.

This restriction expires January 1, 2050.
