Scope and Contents

This diary contains extensive accounts of each student and includes charts to reference the teacher's understanding of how each child is learning and behaving in reference to the other students. There are good details on public fairs and field trips. There are also lesson plans for different reading levels, spelling and arithmetic assignments, science assignments, and observations. Throughout the year the teacher also divides and reorganizes the students based on how they are advancing and includes some explanation why. Other projects include music, plants and cloth, and some history. The diary is critiqued by Dr. Tireman and Mary Watson.

This restriction expires January 1, 2050.
