Scope and Contents

This diary is divided by month, subject (insects, plants, technology/planes, dogs, class history), and academic progress (confusions, grades, reading, tests, arithmetic). The diary contains a multitude of submitted assignments and projects. The diary opens with a daily schedule and a class history. Lesson plans are often outlined, including teaching approach and discussion of results. Field trips are recorded, and rules, expectations, and goals are briefly mentioned. Teacher student interactions are mentioned, often when the interaction changes lesson plans or subject matter. Subjects, such as the desert, bananas or the Eskimoes, are accompanied by class projects such as drawings, songs, or writing assignments. The diary closes with an excellent record of students, grades, and records of completed assignments.
