Scope and Contents

From the Series: Scrapbooks, Clippings, Yearbooks, Memorabilia: scrapbooks of Rotary International events, and personal and political travels. There are also newspaper clippings, yearbooks, and social registers. Memorabilia includes trophies, paperweights, campaign inking plates, medallions, models of space craft, Coronado Cuarto Centennial banners and flags.

Original W. W. H. Davis "Private Journal at a Treaty with the Navajo Indians, New Mexico" is housed in high security area. Researchers should use the photocopy in Box 1, Folder 2.

General

Materials removed from burned scrapbook and placed in 95 folders, seven large pages were moved to Oversize Folder 1. From year 1932-1933 when Anderson was President of the Rotary International and visited and spoke at Rotary clubs across the country and Canada. Contains Rotary club programs, flyers, articles and addresses by Anderson, handbook, early radio program script, and photographs, both men and women, and his family, telegram for his birthday, etc. Includes some information for clubs in Denver, with map of Denver; Albuquerque, Roswell, Rotary meeting in Carlsbad Caverns, and letter about Anderson appointed as New Mexico State Treasurer. Some information on Rotary clubs in Italy, France, Holland, Africa, Brazil, Peru, India, Australia, Malaya, Siam, etc.
