Scope and Contents Photographs include images of the Lacandon Maya after a devastating bout of yellow fever ravaged the population in 1943, and deforestation threatened their homes. Photographs show everyday life of the Lacandon: cooking, cleaning, weaving, making art, attending markets, etc, as well as portraits of people.
