From the Item: Lewis Bayles Paton was a professor and scholar on theology. He participated in the School of American Archaeology's summer field schools as a lecturer. These photos may have been taken during one of his visits to the summer school. For more information on Paton's talks and work with the field school, see AC105_B9_F13. Additionally, correspondence between Paton and Hewett can be found in the Hewett Collection, AC105.
