Scope and Contents
Handmade photograph album with decorative paper cover made from imported batik paper. Front and back covers are light brown with black zigzag design applied; photograph of Jane Henderson Baumann dressed in kachina costume adhered to front cover. Contains photographs of interior and exterior of Baumann house at 409 Camino de las Animas, Santa Fe; Gustave Baumann and Jane Henderson Baumann as newlyweds on porch of Baumann house; Jane Henderson Baumann in costume for various theatrical plays; Gustave Baumann working in his Santa Fe studio; and Punch, the Baumanns' German Shepherd dog. Album pages made from thick fibrous paper, some with paper watermarks. Each page has single photograph with brown paper border adhered to page; some pages have captions written in graphite pencil by Gustave Baumann.
