Subject files, bulk: ca. 1974 to 2004
Series
Scope and Contents
This series of material primarily includes color slides and transparencies, but also includes some black and white negatives, black and white prints, color snapshots, and mixed materials like brochures, magazine articles, maps, notes, correspondence and ephemera.
These materials were created for or gathered around specific stories, projects, and promotions, though some reflect topics of perennial interest. Any subject folder may have material related to a single event or may contain numberous sets of material on a subject or place which were collected inconsistently over decades.
Many of these files are organized under inherited New Mexico Magazine categories (Arts and Crafts, Cities and Towns, Economy and Business, Native Americans, Parks and Monuments, Scenics), but there is an additional subset of miscellaneous and unidentified material which needs additional work to identify and catalog.
