Bound portfolio of 26 high quality 11x14 b and w gelatin prints of photos used in Herz's book, "New Mexico's Crypto-Jews: Image and Memory", Univ. of New Mexico Press, 2007. Portfolio is titled: "Culture and Memory. The Sephardic Legacy of Crypto-Jews in the Southwest. Photography by Cary Herz." Prints are attached to pages of portfolio by photo corners. Date range approximate. 1988-2006 are the approximate dates that Herz worked on this project. Subjects in portraits for book "New Mexico's Crypto Jews" are identified in Box 8, Folder 3.
