Content Description
Snapshots taken while Lauderdale was working on dam, bridge and water projects in the southwest, including the WPA project managed by the US Corps of Engineers on Conchas Dam. Some photographs include tourist scenes in New Mexico, Santa Fe, etc, but many focus on the rivers, bridges, gauging stations that were the focus of the engineering and construction work for these water projects. Some photos, particularly the ones documenting projects in Oklahoma, were taken by others [Shepard & Taylor].
