Portfolio titled War Story featuring 20 photographs by Donald Unrau of men and women who served in the Vietnam War. The images include narratives by the subject in the photograph detailing their Vietnam experiences. The photographic portraits were made by Unrau in the mid 1980's, when he lived in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. The portfolio is one of twenty copies made of this series. At the time of accession, portfolios were in the collection of The Portland Art Museum, The Milwaukee Art Museum, UC-Berkeley and others, and in the collection at the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian. Many of the portraits in the portfolio were made in New Mexico.
