1870 charcoal portrait of Joseph Hersch 17x14, and 1890 charcoal portrait of Rosalia Hersch 20x16, drawings on paperboard. The Hersch family was a well-known and early New Mexican merchant family. These are charcoal drawings made by projecting the original photograph, a process quite common during this period of time. These are the originals.
