Content Description
Two DVD's of home movies, Santa Fe, and New Mexico subjects, 1939 - 1942, made by the donor's father, John Blythe Halton Henderson. The 1939 film shows footage of Ernest Thompson Seton, some views of the Bishop's Lodge Chapel before restoration, as well as short segments on adobe construction and pottery in progress. The dvd dated 1942 is a composite of a number of brief films of Santa Fe, Bandelier, Taos, family events, the De Vargas and Pet parades (Santa Fe Fiesta) of 1942, a Bishop's Lodge cook-out at Aspen Meadows, and J.B.H. Henderson fishing at Salty Reed's Eagle Nest.
