Approximately 500 glass lantern slides ca. 1915-1930, collected and used by Hartley Burr Alexander as teaching aids. Subjects include Pueblos, Dances, Navajo and Plains Indians, the Arctic, and Mesoamerica. Alexander taught philosophy at Scripps College, which he helped to develop.
