History Library transfer (AC 539) of photographs from Tsosie collection. Subjects include Agua Fria, and Spanish Barb horses. Francisca Olivia Tsosie was born January 23, 1933 in Aberdeen, WA, and died February 9, 2007 in Santa Fe, NM. She had 8 children. She made her home in the village of Agua Fria since the early 1950s. She was a long term neighborhood activist on land use, water, environmental, governmental and social justice issues. She lead the movement to designate the community Agua Fria Traditional Village. She founded Onate Spanish Barb Ltd., an organization dedicated to protecting and perpetuating that horse breed and was a member of the Spanish Barb Breeding Association.
