Photographic documentation of ammunition clean up at Ft. Wingate, NM 1998-2007 Color photographs mounted for display and digital images on disc by TPL Inc. Fort Wingate is a former Army Ammunition Depot that closed in 1995. From World War I until its closing, it served as both a storage and disposal site for military munitions. An incalculable amount of munitions were disposed at the depot, and a collaborative worked to cleaned up Fort Wingate after nearly a century of munitions disposal.
