The slides were prepared for presentation with some audio tapes. Mark Dunn was a visual arts teacher for over 30 years and a still active photographer. Over the course of his career he developed slide series that document such subjects as Santa Clara Pueblo, traditional pottery manufacturing, Upper Rio Grande Weaving, Deer Dance at San Juan Pueblo and other New Mexico related topics, along with many series on Mexico. He organized the slide carousels in this collection as teaching tools, some even include audio tape. Most of these series are sequential and illustrate specific techniques or events. Due to their geographic areas of interest and accompanying annotation, they will be a valuable asset to researchers in the archive.
