Collection of Perry E. Borchers's work comprising 1.0 linear foot of material, one Tupperware container of material and several rolls of drawings, approximately 335 photogrammetric recordings, aerial images and negatives. Borchers was an architectural photogrammetrist and architect and was a Professor of Architecture at Ohio State University. Photogrammetry is the science of making accurate measurements from photographs and of using principles of optics, the camera's interior structure, and its orientation to reconstruct dimensions and positions of objects from overlapping images. (This was the final transmittal of Perry Borchers material; see also HP.2005.26)
