This collection also includes some ephemera related to Ansel Adams, Laura Gilpin, and NM tourism. Large format matted prints of NM scenes and some art photography from the career Martin. Robert H. Martin was a professional photographer in the Santa Fe area. The Photo Archives has a number of images documenting events in New Mexico, particularly in Santa Fe. This collection of images, serving as a sampling of the photographic material left in Martin's home upon his death, includes documentation of Santa Fe events during the 1960s and 1970s, a point of weakness for the Photo Archives. The collection compliments other Martin holdings in the Photo Archives, helping to create a collection that seeks to capture his photographic career and life. Additionally, Martin left a quarter of his trust to the Photo Archives. Preserving his photographic work is a duty of the Photo Archives since it benefits greatly from his generosity.
