212 photographs/photochroms of various sizes and formats, primarily from the Detroit Publishing Company/Detroit Photographic Company catalogues, including the 1893 Russian Navy visit to New York, family portraits, and scenes around the US and Canada. Additional subjects of note include Bears in trees, Yellowstone, Yosemite, "Amorita" portrait, "Green Mountains of Vermont," Botanical prints, "Charanne's Muses ... Boston Library," Statue of Liberty, Grand Central Station, photographs of artworks, landscapes, and "The parroquia of Chihauahua Mexico" by William H. Jackson. US locations include scenes of California, Colorado, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Utah, and Vermont.
