131 2 3/4 x 4 1/2 photographs by donor's father Homer Levi Dodge during his trip to the Southwest in 1926. Subjects include ceremonial cave and other views at Rito de los Frijoles, El Morro Monument, views in and around Mesa Verde (Colorado), Pueblo Bonito (Chaco Canyon, New Mexico), views in and around Acoma Pueblo, scenes at Walpi Pueblo (Hopi, Arizona), a Kachina dance ceremony at Bakavi Pueblo (Hopi, Arizona), a Snake dance ceremony at Walpi Pueblo (Hopi, Arizona), a relay race at Santa Clara Pueblo (New Mexico), the Dodge family with Acoma Pueblo Governor James H. Miller, and unidentified landscapes and people (primarily Native Americans).
