1 album of 202 photographs, ca. 1920-1930, including some photographs possibly by Walter Miller.; subjects include Santa Fe, Santa Fe Fiesta, Laguna Pueblo, Grand Canyon, Chaco Canyon, Mesa Verde, Hopi, Acoma Pueblo, Taos Pueblo, San Ildefonso Pueblo, Colorado, and Bandelier National Monument.; Accession paperwork includes a document from 3rd party appraiser David Margolis of Margolis & Moss Fine Books, Prints, Photographs & Ephemera that adds further description of the album with "The album, circa 1930 is black leatherette, titled "Snapshots." and bound with a string tie. Inside are 202 mounted photographs, most measuring 3 x 5 inches. Typical of family travel albums of the period, the above show a variety of locations, mainly taken by an amateur photographer (of some skill), but some issued commercially. The locals are all in the American West and include Santa Fe, the Grand Canyon, Chaco Canyon, Mesa Verde, Hopi, Acoma, Laguna, Taos and San Ildefonso Pueblos, Bandelier National Monument and parts of Colorado. Of special interest are some shots of the Santa Fe Fiesta and a group of J.R. Willis' postcards showing the Hopi Snake Dance."
