Scope and Content From the Collection: The Calbert C. Morlan Letters span the years 1943-1946. The bulk of the letters are dated 1944-1945, and are addressed to Morlan's mother Rosie Morlan. Additional letters are addressed to Morlan's siblings, Opal and Earl, and his father Ernie. The letters were sent to Albuquerque from England, France, Germany, and Fort Bliss, Texas, where Morlan was stationed. There is limited mention of daily army life in Morlan's letters.
