Perla McCunniffe was born on September 4, 1899 to E.J. McCunniffe and Valentina Perea de McCunniffe. She married Jacinto Alidib, who was of Lebanese descent. Perla Alidib, who had been Father Grange’s housekeeper, had inherited the Barela-Reynolds house in 1937 and invited the Taylors to buy it. This series of some of her papers includes letters and photographs of her and her family.
