Scope and Content From the Collection: The John J. Mershon Papers span the years 1907-1984. The bulk of the materials date from 1958-1982, when Mershon was a New Mexico State Representative. Materials include campaign and legislative files, in addition to subject files maintained by Mershon. Also included are handbooks, reports, and publications from various legislative committees. The files are organized largely in alphabetical order.
