Scope and Contents Includes: Folders 1-3 Transcripts of letters written by Numa Reymond. Reymond was born in Switzerland and came to the Territory of New Mexico in the early 1850's After moving in 1882 to Las Cruces he conducted the largest mercantile establishment in the lower valley of the Rio Grande. He was sheriff of Dona Ana County was instrumental in securing the location of the Agricultural College at Mesilla Park and of which he was one of the first regents.
