Biographical / Historical

The University Park Women's Golf Association (UPWGA) was established in 1978 and the objective of the organization was to further interest in golf. The UPWGA was open to all women golfers with existing USGA handicaps, and beginning women golfers who have completed at least six lessons with a golf professional and have a good knowledge of USGA rules and gold etiquette; and to other women golfers who desire membership in said association and who are limited to play not covered by USGA handicaps, and to other conditions set forth above.

The UPWGA disbanded in 2001.
