Scope and Contents
Besides a few newspaper clippings, an official roster of Convention delegates and some unused convention stationery, Ohlinger's papers include Case Reports, Convention Highlights and proposals, and a Workbook of Selected Constitutions.
A photograph of Constitutional Convention delegates has been separated from the collection and placed in the photograph file. Some of the unused stationery has also been removed, as were three playing cards (all jokers!) that were used as bookmarks in the Workbook of Selected Constitutions.

Biographical / Historical
Dwight A. Ohlinger was born on September 26. 1920. Although his primary occupation has been as insurance agent, Ohlinger has also been a New Mexico realtor and served as mayor of the City of Alamogordo. In 1969, Ohlinger was elected to serve as the delegate from Otero District 2 to the 1969 Constitutional Convention. Among Ohlinger's other activities are serving as President of the Board of Regents for the New Mexico School for the Visually Handicapped and being active in the Lions Club, the Boy Scouts and the Air Force Association. Ohlinger is married and has three children.
