Biographical / Historical

The Las Cruces Country Club Women's Golf Association was established in the 1940s. It was noted within their records that there doesn't seem to be much documenation as to when the club was officially organized. When the club was established, they met at the Las Cruces Country Club located on Main street in Las Cruces and after the establishement closed after 80 years of operation, the club then moved in 2012 to the Las Cruces Country Club located at Sonoma Ranch.

The club had an executive commitee which was composed of elected officers that included a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Past President. The membership option was open to any woman who is a member of the Las Cruces Country Club, or the Sonoma Ranch Goolf Course. The club's main objective was to further interest in golf and all other activities of the Association and by doing so the members held various functions through out the year.
