Scope and Contents
Ida Isabel Nunn Rush, granddaughter of W. Guy and Ida Beals, loaned the material in this collection to RGHC to be microfilmed.
The collection comprises mainly letters received by the Bealses and Dr. Beals' brothers and sister. The majority of the letters deal with family news, but there are a few letters from patients. Financial records include canceled checks, bills, receipts, and bank statements. The genealogy section consists of information on the Wells and Long branches of the family. Included in the legal documents section are two land deeds.

Separated Materials
Photos of the Beals family are included in Ms 113 (J. P. Nunn Family Papers). Bettie Beals was married to J. P. Nunn, and images of her and Beals relatives are kept in an album in the Nunn collection.
