Scope and Contents
This collection includes a picture of scouting in Lincoln national forest, two pictures of Native Americans, a picture of a Sunday afternoon at Alamogordo, New Mexico on Nov. 1, 1908 taken by Jim Alexander, a picture of the Mescalero Reservation and pictures of the general Cloudcroft area. Several contact prints of some of the pictures are included as well.

Biographical / Historical
Not much is known about C.W. “Buddy” Ritter, except that he once was owner and operator of the Cloudcroft Lodge and purchased the property of the Cloudcroft Baby Sanatorium Corporation. He replaced the sanatorium building with a private residence.
