Scope and Contents
The L. W. Croissant photographs consists of postcard pictures of executed Mexican Revolution soldiers in a Juarez cemetery, a photograph of the construction of the Elephant Butte Dam, a picture of Preacher Lewis and the boy’s choir and a picture of the sophomore Class of 1914 at New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts. The postcards were all taken by and the copyright held by W.H. Horne.

Biographical / Historical
Little is known about L.W. Croissant save for the documentation kept with the sophomore class photograph which tells of his uncle Kenneth B. Ogilvie and his mother Rena Ogilvie Croissant. In September 1972, Kenneth Ogilvie was the only remaining living graduate of 1913. The document recounts stories of his mother and uncle. Also it says that Kenneth was in Preacher Hunter Lewis’s choir for the Mesilla Park Episcopal Church.
