Scope and Content
The D. W. Boise papers contains 191 photographs of the mining operations in Santa Rita, New Mexico and documents about mining. The documents include articles from the Silver City Press and Independent and technical papers and reports about mining. There are also four brass railroad tags that were placed along with the manuscript items. D.W. Boise was a collector of the photographs included in the collection, but some photographs have his name written on the back and may have been taken by him.
