Organizational Sketch
The Santa Fe Railroad Company maintained an Agricultural Department in Amarillo, Texas. Due to the complex and changing relationships between railroad companies throughout the twentieth century, the department was variously named as part of the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railroad or the Santa Fe Railway System – Texas Lines.
